Osteoarthritis of the thumb operation

Today was the appointment to have the cast removed.
All looks good, and is recovering as it should. She now has a custom fitted splint to wear all the time for couple of weeks and then at night for a few weeks more. I think that's what OH said, something like that anyway! The bonus to this splint is it can be removed for showering etc

She is allowed to drive if she feels she can. She is dying to. However her car, having sat on our drive for 6 weeks, has a dead battery. She plans to try to jump it from my car before I go out.

I wonder if the golfing makes it worse Gem neighbours over the road were keen golfers and have had new kneecaps due to the stance and pressure they have put on their knees mind you they are in their 80's OH is having no luck heathwise at the mo is she 🏌

Qwerty, I think it is all the DIY and gardening she does rather than golf, although that could have a bearing on it too!
