Glamm - it sounds as though you are definitely on the mend. I hope your little walk down into New Brighton blew the cobwebs away and didn't tire you out.

I hope you don't have to wait too long for your glaucoma operation. xx

Daisy the secretary at the clinic said to phone as soon as 2 weeks pass since antibotics finished and they will get me in right away, the have appointments Sat/Sun so it won't be long to wait.
I feel better again to-day we had to sit inside the restaurant yesterday as the weather was so bad but to be honest it was magical watching the rain over The Mersey I enjoyed a good hot chocolate and a yummy eggs benidict on wholemeal muffin.
To-day I am going to spend the day indoors and go out again tomorrow for a browse about charity shops in West Kirby then visit a garden centre on the way back, taking things slowly as advised by everyone.thanks for all your kind wishes.

Yes Glamm don’t overdo things though I know you have to build your strength back up after being so poorly. I’m pleased the clinic has been sympathetic over your appointment.

Glad you're getting back to your old self Glamma and that it won't be too long before you can get your glaucoma seen to. My MiL had to have something done quite regularly with her glaucoma but I can't remember what it was.

I am so pleased to say I now feel 100% recovered from that horrible illness and now firing on all cylinders once again.
Yesterday I went to the nail salon and had my nails and eyebrows done along with a foot massage and pedicure what a difference a day to yourself makes.
I am still taking things slow and not going out every day but make sure I at least have a 20min walk locally with Poppy,I can't take Dolly as she is in the middle of her 1st season so we have to be extra careful with her she goes to the vets in 6 weeks for the op so things will be sorted then,I must say she is a delight a real dopey slow mannered Basset but ever so obedient.
I know it sounds very self centered but I would love to book another week away as I feel I have had no benefit from our last trip I must have been developing the mumps whilst we where away according to my Dr.
                    Love to everyone x

Glad you are on the mend! You must feel you’ve been cheated out of the benefits of a good holiday! I’ve had a couple of illnesses after flying so now use a nasal spray to block the nasty bugs. It seems to have worked so far! Hopefully!

Glamm it takes a while after to get over mumps as a child so im sure as we get older its worse ,
Take things slowly and why not have another break , your excuse could be you need to recharge your batteries xx
