OH's broken wrist

Sleeping doesn't seem to be a problem for OH with the cast on, so that's a good thing.
There is very little pain, which is improving.
On Thursday afternoon a friend drove her to golf and she walked round with them. Giving tuition and collecting stray balls
She can probably walk round most times, so she will enjoy that. She has taken her name off all the competitions for the next couple of months.

This morning she managed a shower! She had made do with washing since the accident. I taped a plastic bag over her arm, and she managed well. She only needs help with hair washing.

All good at the fracture clinic today. They said the orthopaedic man had done a brilliant job, which we knew. Today it was still in that good position after the cast was put on.
As they warned us last week, they have left the original one on as they had such a good position. So she has an orange (GS2's favourite colour) cast on top of the original. She goes back next week when they may remove it all and replace it with a lightweight one.
Hopefully in 5 weeks time it all comes off.

Gem - that all sounds good news, even though it's still a nuisance in so many ways. Hopefully it will all stay nice and straight and heal as quickly as possible. xx
