For once I am pleased I don't live near a beach.

Lizzie - I hope your government brings things under control again. It's quite frightening how cases can suddenly escalate.
Plant - it's not just beaches here - it's all the 'honey spots' round here as well.

Did any of you watch the programme on BBC1 called Surviving the Virus: My brother and me. It featured the twin doctors Chris and Xand Tulleken. The idiots should me made to watch it. the after effects can be very bad for the survivors. Medical staff, exhausted and having to make the decision whether to carry on treating certain patients. What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare

Our government gave a speech last night, they were not pleased with how the virus is spreading, the message was mainly for the younger ones in pubs, restaurants etc. They don't bother to keep their distance at all, pubs can stay open, less people in and if there is an outbreak following pub visits the pub will be closed. Mayors of villages and towns can close a pub or restaurant if they think the rules aren't being followed.
More tests need to be done, they are starting with tests at Schiphol for travellers arriving in the country.
The first rules apply, distance, avoid crowds, hand washing etc. I do hope people listen or it will be a second lockdown.
