      It looks nice though Oma.

Gem, eldest grandaughter bought the figures with dangly legs from a charity shop.
She said they reiminded her of us. I think she was joking.

Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

You all have lovely fireplaces and ornaments that hold memories, I am like Oma a bit minimalistic might be the cleaning thing

Today I swapped my wooden duck for a photo and put flowers in my favourite vase, thanks ladies for an insight to your homes 👍🏻

Lol just spotted my OH’s e vapour on my mantle shelf it’s not usually there and neither will he be if he does that again 😏

It's lovely to see the photos - and they all look great (grate???) in different ways. I intended to take a photo of ours - and I will when I've dusted. OH's birthday cards are still up which is a good excuse for not dusting.

Ditto Daisy I will take a pic of mine when I get round to it - and when I have dusted!

Mine is a brick surround with an electric fire with glowing logs. On the one side I have black fireside companion set and on the other an old fashioned earthen wear vase which we put long sprays of holly in at Christmas time.

Well, I've dusted, so here's a quick snap before the dust gathers again!

the walls are actually grey but it was briefly very sunny this morning and everything looks bleached out!

I didn't realise quite how 'woody' it is until I looked at the photo, but thank you Gem.
