I have never been in an aeroplane. We couldn't afford to take holidays abroad unless we drove and camped so I just missed the boat (or plane). I have been to a lot of countries but only in Europe.

Just seen Mr Depp on another thread, and it reminded, that we have walked in his footsteps.
On one our Caribbean cruises, we took a trip to where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed. We walked on the jetty that Johnny walked on.

I was a 'Mothers Help' in Istanbul for a very short time, the husband was a very dirty old man and refused to pay my wages and kept my letters from home unless I came up with the goods! My dear Pa paid for my ticket home. The children were awful too.
I'd forgotten about that.
