Me too Gemini and butterflies Spiders. I cannot even look at pictures of them!!!
MMM what else, oh yes I was on my own in the hospital when I was waiting for D to be born. There were going to induce me. There was a girl in the next room being induced and she was shrieking her head off. I took fright and ran out of the hospital ten days overdue looking the size of a baby elephant and in my nightie, dressing gown and slippers. I got quite far down the road before they caught me. I was completely hysterical and distraught. I was only 18 at the time and they had to sedate me! Unfortunately the only other pregnancy I had was my still born daughter.
I was an au pair in Belgium for a year, no surprise to those who know me to hear that I hated it - that thing beginning with H and ending with work was far too much to expect me to do, I think that is where I truly decided to be a mucky trollop....If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

((((Hugs)))) Zizi and Elisi.
I used to play hockey, tennis and rounders for my school. I pasted a series of tests and tournaments to qualify for a scholarship to the local tennis club but that was all pushed to one side when my sister died at the age of 16 and then later on mum and dad divorced .Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Mimi - that's very sad. I'm sure the loss of your sister put everything else on hold, and one of the saddest facts about such tragedies is that not many marriages survive the loss of a child. Your growing up years must have been clouded by events beyond your control. <<<hugs>>>"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Awww dear. Such sadness & heartache reading some of these posts. It brings back memories of earlier days but I try not to go there. As they say backwards is not the direction I'm going. Forwards is the way for me now. Admiration for the ladies who can share their sadness tho. Hugs from me too.xx"Good friends help you to find important things when you have lost them....your smile, your hope, and your courage."

More than 40 years ago I was photographed by a young journalist named Piers Morgan. Now there can only be one I tell myself... I tried so hard to chat him up but he was so very charming in his refusal!Women are like tea bags; you never know how strong they are until they are put in hot water.
