                            Didn't one of them get horrible burned when doing a photoshoot in Germany. He was supposed to pictured holding a smoking telephone and it exploded.

                              I met David Niven forty years ago. It was an extremely hot summer and I had walked the baby to the river and stopped in the pub Arden to give him a drink. We lived in Teddington and Thames TV studios was almost next door to the pub. David Niven, who I have always adored, was in there and spoke to the baby (who was very cute - wonder what happened there?) we chatted for a while and he gave me £10 to buy a gift for D. £10 was an awful lot of money then and I tried to refuse but he insisted. I bought some nice clothes and a toy with the money. He was a really nice person to talk to, every bit the gent.
