I find it amusing when I am in a shop and something is say £4.05 and I give the assistant a five pound note and 5p and they look at me as if I am bonkers! I have even explained that giving them the spare little bit means they can give me a pound rather than a purse full of change, if I persist they usually ring £5.05 in the till to be told (by the till) to give me a pound! Gggrrrrr.

Zizi - I know! But I've been on the receiving end of this and sometimes your mind goes a complete blank (well mine does) and I forget how to operate the till, can't do a simple sum and end up looking a total numpty!
