About three years ago I bought a real tree growing in a pot. After Christmas I was going to plant it in the garden but the roots were growing out of the pot so I thought I'd damage it getting it out so decided to just leave it and tuck it at the bottom of the garden not expecting it to survive. However it flourished and though still stuck tight in it's pot it's grown year on year and has just come in for it's third Christmas.I just make sure it gets plenty of water in the Summer and it grows a few inches of fresh growth on the branches each year.I've certainly had my money's worth

Clover - well done on keeping a growing tree going so well.

Oma - now that really does look the business! To quote Zizi in a different context IWOOT!

I just dug out my old plastic tree. Since moving we have not had a moment and I'm glad I did as I bought some new decs for it and it does look lovely by the fire.
