Definitely bah humbug here. All my decs are in storage and as I have all I want I won't be buying more. There is a box full here but I opened them and felt so sad as they belonged to my friend who lived here before she passed away 18 months ago. (we are renting from her husband).
BUT.. I have booked the grandchildren for Thursday after school to help me make some. I have picked up some great ideas on Pinterest. No tree though unless I find a likely looking branch or something.

Oma - thank you for posting the photos. I really love your wooden houses, all lit up. They look so warm and welcoming. (By the way the blurriness is probably because there wasn't quite enough light/the shutter was too slow - so the camera not the photographer!)

LG you tree looks very modern and sophisticated.

GM - no wonder you don't want to use your friend's decorations - it would be so sad knowing she wasn't there to enjoy them. I'm sure the GCs will make some cheerful decorations which you can keep for next year as well.

We don't have many decorations as such, just the 2 trees - most of the rest is cards, candles, plants and flowers. I usually decorate the dining room and this year we're out for Christmas lunch so I could perhaps leave it - but then we've got lots of family coming on the 27th, and it's GD2's birthday, and our traditional New Year's Eve dinner is at our house this year. So I guess I shall do something seasonal. It might be nice to have a few new bits and pieces. I like to go to town with the table decorations.

Oma, decorations look really nice.It will probably be next week when we put the decorations up. Rosie likes to do the tree, so i leave her to it.
Got new curtains for the living room, but i need to iron them first, and make sure the windows and frames are cleaned.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I called in on my friend for coffee this morning and her tree and decorations were up. It looked so lovely and cosy, it made me want to put ours up!
