I've sorted out which presents I've got so far for various people , but I've got a little problem!
I bought a hard-backed book which I think a friend will enjoy, off Amazon. I didn't open it immediately because I knew what it was. I've just had a look and it's second-hand! I didn't deliberately choose second-hand and it is in perfect condition - apart from being stamped inside as being withdrawn from a library stock and having one of those plastic covers on which I think I could take off?
I've checked it really carefully, and it doesn't even look as though it's been read.
I don't know if I can still give it to the friend. What would you do?
