    Round Robins

You know the sort of thing - a letter tucked into a Christmas card telling you all the news about the person who's sent it.

What do you think? All great, some are great, some are awful, are they better on paper or as an email?

Love getting round robin letters. Some come with photos printed on. I never seem to get round to doing them myself though.

Just love hearing from family and friends whichever way they choose to get in touch, far better than being ignored completely.
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

The only one we get is from my GS1's granny in Scotland.

Quite happy to receive the balanced informative ones but the first one I received was from some neighbours. It was so boastful and exaggerated that I binned it! They must have forgotten that DD2 was in the same school and dance class!

I agree, Shem. I used to get one like that every year. I'm afraid I was very rude and never acknowledged it! I just don't understand why people feel the need to exaggerate their children's achievements - all children are different, with different talents and abilities and achieve in different ways, and they are all just as precious.
