Quite happy to receive the balanced informative ones but the first one I received was from some neighbours. It was so boastful and exaggerated that I binned it! They must have forgotten that DD2 was in the same school and dance class!

I agree, Shem. I used to get one like that every year. I'm afraid I was very rude and never acknowledged it! I just don't understand why people feel the need to exaggerate their children's achievements - all children are different, with different talents and abilities and achieve in different ways, and they are all just as precious.
