    Swimsuits!

Holiday time will soon be here, and some of us need swimsuits all year round for swimming or aquafit classes.
Where do you buy your swimsuits from?
Most of mine have been from M and S or BHS (sadly no more) I have occasionally bought online.

Since my radiotherapy I would prefer one which is straight across the top , rather than a V between the cups. I am concerned that the tiny black 'tattoo' will show, although OH assures me that no one else will notice.

I just wondered where you buy yours?

As I don't swim or go in pools I don't own one , but I think if I did it would have to be a good quality support one

I usually buy from a fantastic local, family-owned department store near to us. They stock all the well-known brands, and have a similar range to JL. I always try them on before buying. I bought my last one from M&S, but it wasn't such a good fit.

I usually buy tankinis because you can mix and match the two halves. I like a halter-neck top so the straps don't slide off my shoulders.

Have you looked on line Gem? Some Bra websites sell swimsuits too, and they cater for all needs. Nicola Jane or Royce might be worth looking at.

So pleased you brought this up Gem. Funnily enough I looked in Debenhams yesterday for an Outsize one. Thought they were costly for what they were. I regrettably need a size 20 😔I need to 'take the plunge' (excuse the pun) & go back to Aquafit. I'll be interested to see what the other ladies suggest.

My sister had the same tattoo. She's overcome breast cancer like yourself & when she showed me the mark I said it could be mistaken for a mole. It's how she felt about it that was important at the time. The mark of a survivor. 😉

Bravissimo have good costumes. My present ones are from M&S. I usually buy a long body one so it isn't cut too high on the thigh.

Funnily enough I have just been glancing through the Studio on line offers and they have a very nice swirly skirted swimsuit with a straight bustline I am seriously thinking of ordering it I have never ordered from them before but I really like the style. They go up to size 24 Nana if you want to look at them.
The 3 suits I have are all from M&S they don't seem to have anything that takes my fancy at the minute.I also like tankinis I always feel comfortable in them

The reviews suggested getting a size above your normal size, which I did.

Plant, I hope to restart aquafit classes soon and the reviews say it is good for that.
Qwerty, it will take more than good swimsuit to make me look slim

Gem - that looks nice - comfortable and not likely to embarrass you by gaping or slipping down when it's wet. Ideally I'd like to swim a couple of lengths in a swimsuit before I buy it, but I haven't found anywhere willing to let me do this!!!!

That's lovely Gem. I imagine it's very flattering. I've ordered one from Yours. First time I've been in the shop & that was only by chance. I hope it fits me when it comes.
