Fancied doing something totally out of character to your appearance? I have had the hankering for a good few years to become a red-head and the more I think about it the more I am tempted
the only thing stopping me is the condition of my hair may suffer (thats my excuse anyway) and if I didn't feel confident with the change it would be very difficult to reverse,I was thinking in the colour ways of Janet Street Porter a really vibrant red also I think my hair would need to be shorter to carry off the colour and I don't really fancy having it cut.Has anyone else fancied a
colour change and do you think it would change people's perception of us.

I cant say I was treated any different but I went back to brown as I felt a bit like Pat Butcher Brassy blond and tattooed
, I do put a colour on now but its a rinse out kind not permanent , my grey is a lovely white but its just my fringe and temples ,if it was all going grey I would let it but im not quite at that stage yet
I am letting my grey through now as it is white like Daisy's and I quite like it. Not sure how long I will keep it up, I may give in and have it coloured, but only a temp colour not permanent. Wigs are a great idea, it if you have a shop you can go and try red wigs on just to see, we have one in town and it is worth looking.. In fact I have a few wigs and do wear them. I had the most appalling haircut last September and have not been to a hairdresser since!!!
I was distraught and used Zizi's recommendation on the other site, and it seems to work OK. I am growing it and when really awful I plonk on a wig
