I remember quite clearly when Erin was about 5 months old and they came for a visit, Daddy had chosen an outfit of khaki trousers, white t shirt and beige chunky cardigan for baby to wear. I did open my mouth and say when DD asked what I thought of her outfit that I didn't like it as it made her look like a boy.DD said there you go A I told you Mum wouldn't like it.

Gemini - I'm sure you will find some lovely baby things! My DIL2 is as ungirly and 'anything but pink' as me, but GD1 has other ideas. I quite often find non-pink girly things in Next and she usually likes these.

I don't like to see babies dressed in 'adult' clothes. Apart from anything else, they don't look comfortable with collars scrunched up round their little necks and tucked in shirts and t-shirts coming adrift. But my biggest dislike is things like poppers and buttons that fasten down the back which the poor baby has to lie on!
