That would be the sun I sent you yesterday, Gem? Since this is the totally positive thread, I'll be positive about the rain we've now got - it will save watering tonight.

My GS1 has gone back to University in Loughborough. He has started training again for American Football. He is Soooooo happy. He has really missed his sport.
Always face the sunshine and the shadows fall behind you.
Just had a lovely long chat with my sister in law who lives in Wigan.
Some of you may remember earlier this year, she was told she had lung cancer.
She had a scan last week and saw the consultant today.
The cancer has reduced a bit in size, since they changed one of her tablets.
Consultant will see her every 3 months for a scan, which hopefully will be extended to 6 months.
She is going away this weekend with her eldest daughter and family for a few days.
They have booked for somewhere near the Lake District.
I can't tell you how pleased i am with her news.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Nanto - that really is great news. You must be delighted, and I'm sure that was a very upbeat chat you had with her today. Give her our best wishes. xxx

Nan2, that is good news, my friend has the same, she gets immune therapy as well as the tablets and the tumour has shrunk . I do hope that your sister in law enjoys her holiday.
DD1 had an offer on their house and lots of interest, in the first couple of days it has been on the market
They haven't accepted that offer as it's not that they want but the estate agent thinks they will offer more. It's a nice house I knew it would be easy to sell.
So cheap where they live. It would cost at least twice that where I am.
