    Gem - that's good news. I'm sure it will help tremendously.

    I've just found somewhere to order seeds from, and ordered 6 packets of vegetables.

      We had a postcard from GD and GS2 today. With their lovely faces on the front, and lovely words on the back, saying how they love and miss us, and what they miss about being here

        A fairly local (5 minute drive) fish and chip restaurant has reopened. Just for takeaway, and with all the safety and social distancing measures. I have missed fish and chips SO much.

          Had a really good day.
          Got everything done that i wanted to do at in laws.
          We had fish and chips for dinner.
          Then, we went to Wakefield Asda. its a bigger store than our Asda, you don't seem to be queuing long.
          We got everything we wanted and hubby got his bedding plants.
          Only downside was that our new kitchen clock was supposed to be delivered today,but it didn't arrive.
          Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

              Our (award winning) village fish and chip shop announced they will open again , delivery only, on May 14th. We were gong to go to another one this week, but I will wait for this

                  I have just read that they are going to try and get the restaurant terraces? open for the beginning of June! Planning to open hairdressers etc but nothing is certain as yet.

                            I am not elderly Gem, just happen to live among them!!!!! My neighbour is in his 20's and he received a bag as well. Oh yes Daisy, best part of the day!!!

                              No it hasn't Daisy. There was a message on Amazon.
                              Said sorry your item is late. if it hasn't arrived by the 7th, we will get a refund.
                              That tells us it won't be coming.
                              Hubby looked on Ebay,and found the same clock.
                              But,that says it will take 2 weeks to come.
                              If we don't get the one from Amazon,we will send for the one on Ebay.
                              We have looked at clocks in other places,but can't find one the same.
