I heard about the gift card scams.
One lady went to Currys,to ask if they could stop selling gift cards to her elderley father.
The manager spoke to her and told her he knew what was happening.
He told her that he had actually spoken to her father, tried to explain to him it was a scam.
Sadly, the father didn't listen.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I often watch on YouTube the people who stop scammers , there was one who wanted a old lady to get all the money she had in the house she said she had $75.000 and put it in-between the pages of two books put it in a bag and a courier would pick it up and they would deposit it safely in her bank account for her,
Luckily the old lady was a actress and was part of the team catching these people,
They get very abusive when they are caught out.Im not fat just 6ft too small

I had an email supposedly from Halifax advising me that a new direct debit was being set up with a dental practice in Manchester for £386.20. I know I was at the dentist yesterday, but it certainly wasn't in Manchester! I phoned the Halifax and the lady I spoke to asked if the amount was in the region of £300, which it was. It seems this a new scam and they've had several calls over the past couple of weeks about it. She assured me that as long as I hadn't replied to it or phoned the number given on it, I should be OK but just to keep an eye on my account. The scammers couldn't set up a DD because my card was a credit one not a debit.
Halifax always address you by name in any messages, so my suspicions were raised by the fact that there was no greeting as such.
Another one to catch the unsuspecting!Believe you can and you're halfway there.
