Now come on , cheer up. You're retired now, you can pop over whenever you like! You'll be the guest and hopefully get looked after too. They'll have all sorts of things and places to take you to. You'll have a great time.
Is joining them still on the cards?

We've been asked to have the boys one at a time, during the holidays. I think this is to keep Mummy sane but also to stop the falling out and to aid Rhys' recovery. More time and space for his physio and exercise.
DD2 has broken her foot and is off work for 6 weeks as she can't get into work. Luckily she can work from home most of the time. We might have to pop over and take them all out somewhere before they get "cabin fever". Hopefully , more than once.

Qwerty - no, not a soft touch, but your DD knows you love her to bits and I bet she really loves being looked after by Mum from time to time. I hope it was a good birthday celebration.

You will be busy GJ! I hope DDs foot soon recovers!

Qwerty, I'm sure DD was grateful

Guests just gone I made a mistake of saying she had gone to a 50th when it's a 40th poor girl, 2.30 when she got in they had been to a casino at midnight😱 and a hotdog on the way home from one end of the social scale to the othert I would say, dad sent them off with bacon sarnies but at least she made her bed which she didn't do half the time when she lived at home lol
OH and I just chilling out now with a latte
