      We had the same problem in our other house , our DS wanted dark Navy Blue , My goodness what a nightmare to cover ,
      2 coats of primer and 4 coats of white and I could still see a blue tinge , I gave up after that and we lived with a slightly funny white , 6 coats was my limit

      DD when she was about 14/15 wanted to paint her ceiling Black , no way was that ever going to happen , she settled on one wall papered in Black that was easy to strip off when the Goth faze passed
      Im not fat just 6ft too small

        Oma - the wallpaper was a good solution. As you say, easier to get rid of eventually.
