    Planning her bedroom

When DS2 and family moved into their current house it was (and still is) wall to wall magnolia (it had been rented out). Gradually they are starting to personalise it, and both GDs would like their bedrooms decorated. So mum and dad, wanting to give them some choice, have been asking for their ideas.

GD is very clear - she just wants a bookcase!

GD2 isn't sure what she wants. She'd quite like pink (dad shuddered), but she says she's a bit worried that when she has boys for sleep overs they might think it's a bit too girlish and won't want to stay!!!!

    Dad shuddered a lot more.

Plant - he's always says he's not letting the girls out anywhere until they're 35.

Just let her have the pink bedroom so boys DEFINITELY won’t want to stay. Ha ha.

Sunshine - what a good idea. I can imagine Dad saying the pinker the better!

Glamm, we made the mistake of letting our then teenage DS2 paint his own bedroom when we moved into this house. He chose a really dark grey and no matter how many times we've repainted it white I think it still has a slight grey tinge to it!

The room I use as my therapy room belonged to the teenage son of the family who lived here. It was painted black and white, but mostly black, sort of cow pattern!! My therapy room is a relaxing shade of lavender. Imagine the work involved to get that right!

Gem - that must have been a major job! I'm sure cow pattern wouldn't have been very relaxing for your clients!!
