Very well done Neve how exciting for you I hope she does well and sending all the luck in the world to them.
I am going to give myself a pat on the back this week as this is the first week all my banking figures have balanced,I am not the brightest spark when it comes to figures and I always end up with a headache on Saturday afternoon when trying to sort everything out between cash to bank and credit card payments to bank, lunch allowances and bus fares and stationary costs it makes the mind go blank but it all balanced 1st time and as Victor Meldrew says "I don't believe it" at least the Company accountant will be happy this week as I think he has my shop phone no on speed dial
    Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Well done Glamma. As one of the numerically challenged, I'm impressed

          I can't resist a little boast!

DS2 and DIL were invited to GD1's special end-of-term assembly today because GD1 was getting a special award from the Headmistress. GD1 was a bit vague about why she'd got the award, so Mum and Dad were delighted to find that it was for being a good role model to her classmates, always ready to help them, being kind, and always trying her hardest.

She doesn't have to do anything to make me proud of her - I love her to bits whatever she does - but I'm so pleased that some of her good qualities have been acknowledged.

Thank you ladies. She and her little sister have been to Paulton's Park today, so it will be interesting to hear if her angelic qualities have survived all that excitement.

Visit Paultons Park - the #1 UK theme park as rated on Google and TripAdvisor - for an unforgettable family day out.

Just looked where it is on the site map Daisy. I have relatives who live Southampton way, but too far for us I'm afraid. Pity.

Well, it seems that GD1 had a wonderful time and I think GD1 retained her halo. It slipped a bit when she got up at 6.15 this morning on a day when Mum and Dad were hoping for a bit of a lie in.

Nana - we're just to the west of Southampton - it's our nearest large shopping centre.
