Cannot see a place for a boast like we had before,so started one hope that's okay. Granddaughter number 2 e mailed me to let us know she had passed her jazz piano exam with a score of 107 out of 110.Very proud of our little miss.

Libra Gran - well done to your GD. It sounds as though she's reached a level where she can play the piano just for fun, so she may come back to it later, especially when she finds playing drums (especially from music) is much harder than it looks! I had piano lessons until I was 16 (nothing as exciting as jazz though!) and didn't play again for many years until a started playing keyboards in my OH's band. Although I'm very rusty now and struggling to keep up with my 10 year old GS, I still have a keyboard and play for my own amusement - and frustration!"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. Youngest DD had a second hand Beckstein (is that the correct spelling) for her 40th last year to which we contributed, she has a piano lesson every Monday evening. Her bit of me time. Matt has been advising DD about the set of drums you can buy that come with a head set,so only N can hear them,I just say thank goodness they live in a detached house"What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."
