I logged on this morning to find we have now been relagated to no 4 on the bidding list, how does that happen when the offices are closed for the week-end !! very strange it must all be automated.I am ringing them this morning and asking just what we have to do to even get considered and really just to let off steam (if you know what I mean)

It seems a ridiculous situation thar you can get relegated down the list when the office is closed! I know nothing about this system but it doesn't seem fair to me. I hope at least you get a satisfactory explanation as to why you have suddenly dropped so many places down the list. Fingers crossed all turns out well.Grandmothers are just antique little girls - author unknown

Glamm - I'm sure you're right - the system is an automated one. I would certainly be asking how they regard your OH's increasingly poor mobility and make sure they know the up to date position.
Letting off steam is good for the system.xxx

qAt last I managed to speak to a young chap who knew what he was talking about,it seems that you can still apply via e.mail and your details automatically added to the system so someone who has not logged on before me may have been on the waiting list longer than us so would be placed further up the bidding if they where in the same band as us (a wee bit clearer) but he insists that we are in with a good chance as the first 5 are normally reaccessed and their priorities judged accordingly so we may still be lucky,he said this particular HA usually takes about 7/10 days deciding who to call for a viewing so all hope not lost as yet.Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Glam - that is a more positive position than we thought, so I'm definitely going to keep my fingers crossed. I hope the HA know how difficult it is for your OH in your current home. Xxx"Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "
