Pearl I am not anti walking. We are RHS Members and really enjoy a day at Wisley in particular. We just don't do a lot of walking for leisure due to time restraints. When I go up to town (London) I do tons of walking but usually because I am like a dead homing pigeon and always getting lost, mind you some of the places I go to are in odd locations. I went to a community centre on a massive social housing estate a couple of weeks ago and I would defy anyone to find it first time, it was on the second floor of a block which had retail units on the ground floor and was otherwise flats and a doctors surgery. I do always have a pair of flat shoes in my bag if I am going to be getting lost, I used to have some folding up ones but I found that they did not give me support and therefore hurt my feet and also if it rained my feet just got soaked as they were very light,

Gem you know I have always been a shoe girl. Since I fell off my shoes in Barbados eighteen months ago and hurt my foot I have been very disappointed just looking at my beautiful shoes in their plastic boxes, depressed even sometimes. I was honestly wondering if I was going to have to give them away. I think the very highest ones have had their day to be honest but I am not giving them away until I absolutely have to.
If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Tiz must just be me then, i dont like walking, unless its along a beach front while on a sunny holiday... my sister and my friend walk everywhere, i just meet them there...

I love heels but they dont love me now, my oldest DD cannot walk in flats, she gets pains up her legs.. the heels they have are ridiculous....can't pinch them off them when they finish with them...

Nana it was sheer bliss, i was hinting for a holiday, OH said why go away when we have all this on our doorstep....cos it is free i know what he is thinking, will leave holiday brochures under his dinner plate today...

Planat lovely memories, i can see me and OH getting our monies worth out of these NT passes, it was one of his friends who told him about it....x

I brought a pair of Pavers shoes, I wore them for the first time yesterday. I now have two blisters on my left foot and one on my right foot.
I haven't come across one single pair of new shoes I have had that hasn't caused me some discomfort of one sort or another. Once I worn them a bit they are generally OK.
As my dear dad would have said
"You have to wear them a bit before you can get them on "
Bring me sunshine in your smile.
