Hi Ladies, Yesterday I popped over to visit DGS2 and his partner to see new baby GGS Noah and the delicious Sofia it is the first time I had seen him since he was in the hospital and what a little poppet he is,so dark just like his daddy with masses of thick black hair he has certainly taken over the Portuguese genes.
Big sister was fussing about him and being lovely towards him but she would not let Grand-pa hold him only me and then for only a few minutes so she has certainly put her stamp on who came first in the pecking order.
We took her some little surprises for her to open as we had brought gifts for little man,she opened hers then opened his we had bought him a silver train for his little collection which family have started for him so we came away after promising to buy her a train set for her C-------s box.
I was very impressed with her mum who had made her lunch and little one was sitting nicely eating when we arrived at 12.30 on her plate was pasta/humus/tomatoes/cheese/and cucumber all cut up in interesting shapes she ate the lot and mum said she will eat most things mum is such a good little mum and manages very well so proud of her and my DGS.Keep Calm,You're Fabulous

Aww, they do sound a lovely family Glamma. No wonder you are proud.
Young mums can be really good mums. I actually think some young mums take to it better than some older ones. I think first time older mums, as a lot are these days, find it much harder to adjust, as they have their lives all settled and a child changes things so much. When you are younger you 'go with the flow'“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
