I'm back to walking the floor in anticipation as DS1 has just phoned to say they are going into delivery suite DIL has been kept in due to pre eclampsia and a slow down of movements over the past 24hrs she was 4cms when DS1 phoned so I hope things go quickly for her,she is very large and her feet & legs have swelled badly I hope this little one makes a quick appearance for her,she is getting extra care from midwives as she is classed as an older mother with her being 36 and this her first baby.Last edited by Glammanana; 12-05-2018, 08:17 PM.Keep Calm,You're FabulousComment

Hi my lovelies our little girl finally made her appearance this morning at 9.45am so a very long labour and ending with an emergency C section as little one was showing a slowing down of her heart rate so a scary time for my DS1.
Little one weighed in at 8lbs 3 ozs and has gone to the SC unit for a while hence not hearing from DS1 until lunchtime but she will be back with mummy & daddy in an hour or so according to midwives.
I can now go and relax for the rest of the day I have been cat napping all night waiting for the phone to ring.

We as a family are certainly filling up the May page in my birthday book,
My John on the 2nd along with new GGS
1st Grandaughter born on 20th
3rd Grandaughter born on 13th
Any more for any more she says ??
DS2 and his wife have said they are thinking of trying after they come back from Mexico in September so lets see what next May brings.
