I guess it dies Daisy! They want to keep it because next time they will have a fresh cycle and if they have any left they will be frozen also as one on its own is
a bit risky to put back in as frozen attempts seem to do less well and putting 2 embryo's seems to increase the pregnancy chances. (They had two put back in last time and got one baby) of course you do have a chance of multiple births. The whole process costs a fortune and once you have had a baby you don't have any more NHS treatments even if you didn't use up all your initial allowance.

Just had a phone call from SIL , DD has been admitted into hospital because of high blood pressure. She woke in the night with a headache and she was advised to come to hospital.
As I am about 58 miles away SIL has told me not to come down...yet , they are waiting for the results of her blood , urine tests. This doesn't stop me from worrying. She saw the midwife on Tuesday and her blood pressure was high then and I wasn't too happy that they seemed to think she would be fine.
Baby is due in 7 days.

Mimi, I know it is easy to say, but try not to worry. There are admitting your daughter to be on the safe side. As she is 39 weeks, if there is even the slightest risk to mother or baby I'm sure they will induce. This happened to me 40 years ago with my first baby. She was delivered, we were both fine

Once your lovely grandchild is here, all this will be behind you.
        Please keep us posted xxx

DD is staying in the maternity unit overnight so I suppose she is in the best place. I would have worried even more if they had sent her home.

Just spoken to DD, she sounds really well, a little tired but that's to be expected.
She says now that the headaches are under control she feels much better though her blood pressure is still an issue. She has been on one type of tablet, her pressure came down a bit but as soon as the tablet wore off the pressure went up again, she is now on another tablet and they will see how she is when that wears off.

My Daughter Inlaw went to hospital last Thursday for scan and check up. They carried out the scan and relished the placenta was breaking down, baby had not been moving much for the last few days, and mummies sugar levels was very low. She was 36 week. The decided they wanted her in that evening and induce her on Friday morning. They inserted a foley Balloon which I had never heard of, after 12 hours they said she was 3cms dilated. Baby arrived at 5-05am Saturday morning, her weight was 5lbs and half oz. They have named her Phoenix. Baby sugar levels was low for a couple of day. Mummy and baby doing well and they came home on Tuesday evening.
