So, boys for us Mimi, a little girl (GGD) -for Glamma, not sure what Missy, whose GC is due the same week as mine is having. I think Avos is a boy too, or have I imagined that??

You've either imagined it Gemini or you have a crystal ball! Our baby is going to be a surprise . DS and DIL have got to go for a scan this morning baby is measuring only 32 weeks (still) and they are 38 weeks, but at the last scan they said it was a big baby !! They should be there now so will report back how they get on .................... fingers crossed there are no problems.

LOL, I did wonder where I got that information from!
Try not to worry Avo. DD was told last week her baby is on the small side. Looking at her I doubt it, and I have heard of so many mums worried about these Small For Dates reports, and produced perfectly normally sized babies!

Avo - I wonder how they work out the statistics for 'weight for date'. Every mum to be is an individual and so is every baby. My DIL2 was told during both pregnancies that her baby was very small, but they were 6 lbs 6oz and 6 lbs 3 oz - not huge, but not tiny. Do the measurements vary depending on how the baby is lying at that particular time. I hope everything is going to plan for your DIL. xx

All seems fine with her scan. Just got to wait now ..... we've been for a swim this afternoon. Trying to do a little something each day.

Avo - that's good news. I'm glad everything is ok. Not long to wait now.

She's got to the point where driving is uncomfortable and she doesn't want to be more than 40 minutes from home. It's just the uncertainty of not knowing when it will come in these last few weeks/days. Everything is prepared for the little one .... we just need a baby now!

All was well at DDs midwife check this week, BP and all.
Last week she was told she was showing signs of pre eclampsia again. She didn't tell us, but was prepared to be whisked into hospital for the rest of the pregnancy after this weeks visit, like last time.
                  She is very happy now

Gemini - I bet you are as relieved as your DD is that all is well. Not long to wait now.

Send her our very best wishes. xx

Avo - I know it costs to run such facilities, but that sounds a bit like blackmail. If they don't keep it frozen, what happens to it?
