Glamm - how exciting. I bet the baby box is full of delightful things.
Gem - when our first GD arrived I went to shop for some little outfits but kept straying into the 'blue' aisles! Habits die hard, and when GD2 arrived I was still gravitating towards the boys' things - but I'm sure with the practice you've already had with GS1 you will soon get into the swing of doing blue. You could always take GS with you to help

Daisy so very true we went to "blue isle" when shopping its no surprise after DD having 5 boys and 1 girl who just happens to be a right tom-boy anywayDD has found a lady in our local market who does hand knitted pram suits and it turns out she is the daughter of the lady who I used to buy DDs pram suits from what a coinsidiance (sp) is that. The expectant mum has a slight problem with low laying placenta and may have to be hospitalised if no movement in 2 weeks but clinic say its nothing to worry unduly about they just want her to rest and to keep a special check on her from now on.

Last night OH, DD2 and I went to the cinema. During the trailers, DD put my hand on her tummy, as baby was really moving about to some of the loud soundtrack. The film was a 15, I hope he went to sleep
Next week is half term so GD is going with DD to see the midwife. She is very excited!
Baby's room is now decorated, and GD puts her baby doll to sleep in there each night now and changes its nappy on the changing unit! DD said GD is very impatient now.βA grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.β β Unknown

Gem my babies always used to leap around to loud music in my tum. Couldn't work out if they liked it or were annoyed at being kept awake!
Your GD is just a bit younger than my DD was when her baby brother was born.I remember how excited she was.

Gem - I've found with GD1 that it's taken a while, but now GD2 is two they play together - mostly very well. GD2 tries to copy GD1 and always wants what she's got or is playing with, but as time passes they are playing together more. I'm sure your GD will be a great playmate for her little brother.
