    Weekend away with my girls

Next weekend I am going to Edinburgh with my 3 daughters.
We have a night away together from time to time, but this weekend away is to celebrate the birthdays of DD2s and 3, as they are 40 and 30 this year.
We have a very nice airbnb flat , for 2 nights, and are travelling first class on the train.
I love being with my girls, so can't wait
It is important not only because of the 2 special birthdays this year, but because as DD3 goes to Canada in June, it will be a while before we can do this again.

One DD used Nectar points to get our train tickets cheaper, and another has £60 of Pizza Express voucher to go towards our meal one night. We are having a good time whilst keeping down the costs

                    It's tomorrow

We are going to an Escape Room on Saturday night, before our meal.
Has anyone heard of these or experienced one?
I never have. Once it was explained to me (and I was reassured I would be working in a team with the other 3, so no risk of being left in the room by myself LOL) I was happy to do it. You are locked in and have to solve various puzzles to get out within the time. I will report back

Gem - that's come round quickly.

Yes, I have heard of an escape room. In fact there was an episode of Not Going Out about it. It was a surprise for Lee's birthday (the Lee Mack character). I can't get a link to it, but it was Series 9, Episode 2 broadcast on 15 March this year. I'm sure your experience won't be quite as dramatic as this one. It should be fun - along the lines of a murder mystery week-end I should think. I shall look forward to hearing all about it.

Oma - (off topic, sorry Gem) I don't watch much tv, but I do enjoy that programme. You can often see the quips and jokes coming, but they're still funny. I used to love Outnumbered as well.
