GM - what a wonderful experience. Like Gem, I have a friend who did a Western riding holiday, but I think it was more sedate than this. We've got a Western riding school near us and she had some lessons there beforehand, but I don't think she was an experienced horsewoman.
Every year in the New Forest we have 'drifts' where the Commoners and Agisters round up the Forest ponies - it's quite exciting to watch, but they're quite secretive - never advertised - but this adventure looks to be on a massive scale!
