I'm glad you were able to rebook, Oma. I bet lots of airlines will be charging higher prices as demand from cancelled Ryanair customers builds up.

They are cancelling flights for up to six months. I think they have under priced themselves out of the market. The. Annoy afford to be cancelling so many flights, just the aviation rules mean they are going to be losing money in compensation as they. Annoy claim a natural disaster or anything. They were going to take over Alitalia but are not now. I think it is a downward slope, might be wrong of course

They say they don't have enough pilots to fulfill the bookings

Because the pilots are in dispute with the airline re working conditions and are leaving in droves. They also say they beggared up the holiday rostas which is why the pilots are not available. I don't trust that CEO. He has always had an eye on the money and a big mouth and when it works it works but I don't think he has a fall back plan. Airlines do not work on a week by week basis. They know many months in advance what is happening. Lack of pilots is a laughable excuse for what has become a major airline. Only my opinion of course.

I fly with them on Wednesday to Majorca one of the destinations not affected (fingers crossed) I would far rather fly with Jet 2 the last time we where away with Ryanair it was like a cattle market even EasyJet come up better in my opinion.I'm really looking forward to this little break for a week with my DD a chance for us to relax before the run up to xmas and the birthdays we have before the end of the year.
