    Cruise booked

After much dithering we have booked a cruise with Fred Olsen. Have always gone with P & O before but really like the smaller ships so,thought we'd give Fred a try. Just a short one cruising the Seine, so no long days at sea.

Next May, Oma. We'd looked at Viking but really didn't want the hassle of the travelling to pick up the boat. We like the short drive to Southampton, only takes us about 45 minutes.

Friends have gone with Viking, they really enjoyed it. The live very near Heathrow so not much travelling for them.

We like to leave from Southampton too , its a very long drive for us and we often stop off over night half way as its too much for B ,but its worth it for the ease no flying no baggage allowance everything taken care of when you get to port , lovely

When we go on a cruise,we prefer to fly out to the ship.
Never been on a Viking cruise or a Fred one.

Enfys - that sounds lovely, and as you say, going from Southampton is brilliant.

It sounds very romantic, cruising along the Seine in May
