    Booked!

I have just booked a weeks holiday in August at Doxford cottages in Northumberland. We stayed there three years ago with 6 of our friends in a 4 bedroomed cottage, as part of our joint 60th birthday celebrations. This time just OH and me, in a 2 person cottage. The cottages are luxurious, the surroundings lovely and we love Northumberland.

A bonus may be meeting up with the Omas too, if they are free

All I need to order now is the weather

I'd second that, Qwerty. You're a very busy lady and need some R&R time. x

We didn't plan to go away in the school hols Qwerty (madness to go when it's busy and I'm needed for full days childcare!) We were thinking of September. However this week came up, and we are going!
You can book something for later, it's good to have something to look forward to

We're still dithering about going away in the caravan for a few days next week. To be honest, unless my back feels a lot better, I don't think I can cope with two dogs - even stepping over and round them becomes painful.
