We are off to Rhyl North Wales for the day,Area Manager (she who should be obeyed) is sending us to sort the new shop in the Area so we are on the early train from New Brighton with our butties packed and bottles of water thanks to M&S food hall,we shall have a busy day getting the new shop off the ground,I have promised all my volunteers that I will bring them back a bar of rock each.lol xxx

I love rock too GM! I bought some for my GC when we were in Cornwall, they had never had it before. 2 GC, offer was buy 2 sticks get one free, so of course I had to have the extra one

What a lovely day it was ladies
we arrived by 10am and popped in to a sweet cafe for breakfast as AM not arriving until 10.30am,we where sat eating toast when phone rang and AM wants to do a conference call 
for goodness sake we are seeing you in 15mins so what is the point and anyway all my paper work is on my desk not here in a cafe with me,so had to fudge my figures slightly didn't I,and when we arrived at the unit the onsite driver had only left the wrong set of keys and gone off to someplace about 2 hours away to deliver some furniture,we where locked out until 1.15pm when he came back so in all we had a couple of hours there so not a lot done,but enjoyed meeting the new members of the sales team and the locals who popped in to see what we where up to.

Glamm - I've only just caught up with this! It's so true - if something can go wrong, it will! At least you had a day out in sunny Rhyl. I haven't been there for years, even though we have relatives in Prestatyn, but last time I was there it was looking a bit sad and run down, so I hope it's improving now.
