Plug is definitely a great idea!

Speaking to DIL this morning she said she'd forgotten to say that she also took 4 of the 5 cans of deodorant out of GS1's case, edited the 10 t-shirts (for 3 days) and added a waterproof jacket.

My grandson(15) is going to Poland on Friday for four days. I dread to think what and how he would pack. He is going on the trip from school so will be visiting Auschwitz , which I think will be quite thought provoking and something he will never forget. Back to the packing, I wouldn't mind betting that I will get a call from him or mum to go and do it for him. I must confess that I do like a suitcase properly packed. Meanwhile, his mum and two sisters are off to Norfolk for the weekend so they will all be gone and I will be home dog and cat sitting. Oh well at least the animals can't answer back.

Mamma-mia - I hope your GS has a good trip, although I imagine going to Auschwitz will be a very sobering experience and one he'll never forget. On the subject of packing suitcases properly, may I call on your services next time we go on holiday! I can never decide what to take, and then just fling in a random collection of things.

I'm sure the furry members of the family will keep you busy for the week-end.

I've just packed for our week away and we both have a 'carry on' size bag. Lots of tops to mix n match 3 pairs of trouser, 1 dress and undies, 2 cardigans. Plus wet weather gear and walking boots.

Avo - well done. That's good packing.
