We are staying in the White Hart Nettlebed near Henley. Hell of a journey to get here, sat in traffic for ten miles to get into Henley. Nice place though. Room is lovely, very rustic/designer. Huge bath by the window- had a bath this morning but will definitely have to have one before dinner tonight, might even let himself wash my back!

Nan2 on Trip Advisor it has some negative reviews about decor and being out of date but it is exactly what we would do if we had a property of this age. It depends on what you arre looking for doesn't it? If you like ultramodern don't go to a village location, go to a big bright town. We love it.
Plant, went for a walk, got bored sitting in the garden reading the papers. It is lovely here. A proper village. Shame about the traffic going through it (another trip advisor gripe) but that is what happens these days, at least it has retained its lovely character. AND the furniture shop is right next door to the pub/hotel, only the entrance to the car park separates it. I desperately want to go in there but it is closed on Mondays so you will not be seen as the bad girl by my husband as I will not be able to buy anything tomorrow!
I actually have to go now as my bath is nearly full and I have a vine and tonic waiting..... Ta ta for now xxIf you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together
