It was so hot last weekend I decided I wanted to do this.
Unfortunately so did everyone else and they were booked up. OH had agreed to come with me but not to go into the water.
When I told DD2, later, she said she will go with me . She goes regularly, often early morning, it's her happy place to be at peace and unwind.
I wanted to go today but it was fully booked again. Now today is here and its dull and drizzly I am glad I'm not there!

DD3 loved wild swimming, it's a great sadness to her (and us) that she no longer can.

Wild swimming wouldn't be my cup of tea.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

DD swims regularly, Summer and Winter in just her swimsuit. She does wear a hat, gloves and socks when it's cold! There have been times when they've had to break the ice to get into the water, brr! I think she goes 7.30 ish on a Sunday morning!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

Welli can't swim but even if I could that wouldn't be a thing for me ,
I can just say paddle in the sea as long as I can see my feet , any deeper than my ankle and I'm out 😁

Oma, what a shame you cannot swim, we lived very close to two rivers.

Water has always scared me , I can't even go in a swimming pool on holiday ,
At a push I would dangle my feet in but my anxiety levels would be through the roof ,

I love the idea of wild swimming but somehow never get round to doing it. 😀

Gem, absolutely nothing stopping you now. Just take care the water isn't too cold. Xxx
