My DD said to me the other day your looking tired mum you need a holiday, so got a text to say its booked going to Spain DD, SIL and eldest g/d they have booked a villa and flights and hire car is booked of course its not free but its very welcome and well needed so we are away 3rd week in August, this afternoon getting on the bus the driver before I could get my bus pass out said don't bother and passed me my ticket, I am devastated to say the least as I thought

today I was looking good how wrong can I be !!!!!!!!!!

Had to fill in an online form with drop down scrolls for the year of birth - seemed to keep going down and down and down. Lovely to have a holiday to look forward to.

Shemadee - ever since the invention of those wretched scroll down menus I've cursed them because our credit card renewal date is November, I was born on the 31st and my birthday gets ever further out of sight. Oh, and on sites where you have to choose your country, UK is supporting a mountain of other names. At my age I don't have that much time to scroll!!!

Qwerty - I bet your lovely DD just needed an excuse to get you to join them for a holiday. And I'm sure the bus driver was expecting to see a student pass. xx

What a lovely daughter you have Qwerty. I had the opposite experience yesterday..(.sticks her chest out ready for a boast) 😎 I handed my prescription in yesterday saying I don't pay. The woman asked if I had a Pre-payment prescription. I said that I ticked the over 60's box. 'Well that surprises me. I would never have guessed. You don't look it'. I thanked her for the compliment, but at the same time I thought how am I supposed to look at 64? 😂
