Where are you going this year?

There are so many tv ads at the moment for holidays - everything from days out to exotic locations in the sun. Have you made any plans yet?

We'll be having our usual trips out in the caravan. We've talked about taking it abroad, but we'd want to take Eva as well and there's so much red tape now, and she would have to have all sorts of injections. We've also talked about a trip to Scotland. The NC500 sounds fabulous, (round the north of Scotland) but a lot of setting up and taking down of the caravan, so we might work out some variation on that where we stay put but have days out at the places we are most interested in.

We are going to Majorca (to the hotel where we swim in the sea) in September.

    No other plans as yet.

We are thinking of a bit of a UK trip taking in various places. So we may be dropping in on some of you for a cuppa

Oma, we have seen a few places on Susan Calman's programme that we fancy visiting.

            You should book the cruise

Gem, you're very welcome here any time.

Oma, it's a few years since you last went on a cruise, isn't it. If you're sailing from Southampton, you know where we are.

We are going to South Africa in October. This was a holiday which was cancelled due to Covid. Very excited. OH has done an excellent job of planning our trip. 😁
We have also booked a few trips in this country so we can take the dog.
If you get as far as here Gem, you will be very welcome.

Next month I'm off to the Suffolk coast for a few days. Managed to get the apartment downstairs from where DS and I stayed in the summer. Has a private parking space which is a bonus!
April sees me in Slovakia and May in Turkey. I'd love to get back up to Scotland to see the family and my new great, great niece......who is a Wee cracker ! (Proud great grandad's words!).
Then we'll see what the rest of the year brings!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.

I would love to come to York, I love the place and think you are very lucky living there. Alas I am past travelling far on my own.
