    Brownsea Island

Brownsea Island is the largest island in Poole Harbour (south coast of England) and is owned by the National Trust.

Plant will know it as the home of Scouting and Guiding, and may know of Brownsea Castle which is leased by the John Lewis Partnership.

We've lived on the south coast for 40 years and I've never visited the Island, despite having done a week-long sailing course in Poole Harbour.

We're spending the day on the Island this week, so will write about it afterwards.

Daisy, yes I have been there, it has red squirrels. Enjoy your visit.

Daisy, that looks a lovely place, and red squirrels too.
Look forward to hearing about your visit.
