We live very close to the beach about 15 minutes drive , we hardly go .
Even when we have been I wont go in the water ,
Well maybe the very edge for a paddle but no deeper than my foot .
Apart from the north sea is always freezing like Nanto im not a fan of the water .

I don't even go to the swimming baths , water terrifies me , strangely im ok on a boat though , odd isnt it .
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma - it is strange how people can be fearful of water but like going on boats - although they are very stable boats. I used to enjoy dinghy sailing, but you were guaranteed to get very wet, even without falling in!

We haven't managed to get back to the the outdoor pool this summer. DD3 went with a couple of her friends after her babyshower.

DDs 1 and 2 and the GC have been to another outdoor pool , in Helmsley this summer. We may try that one day as my auntie lives there!

I will be outdoor swimming on my holiday next week however

Gem - I'm quite sure you will be swimming on holiday, and I'm equally sure it will be much warmer, and it will be compulsory to have cocktails by the pool in the evening.
