    Adventure Golf

I've put this under Days Out, even though it was just an evening!

The pensioners' club OH belongs to arranged for a group of us to go to a local 'posh' crazy golf course this evening. We met up at 6 o'clock and it was a lovely sunny evening with just a light breeze coming off the Lymington River.

We made up a foursome with good friends and off we went! It was hilarious with some of us ending up hitting balls into the water, off the "fairway" and onto other holes. I was very proud I was the only one in our 4 not to hit a ball into the water. But I did gain the distinction of losing a ball! On a crazy golf course? It went between two large rocks and didn't come out the other side!

Our friend, who is a keen 'proper' golfer got a hole in one and won a bottle of wine as the man with the lowest score.

It was a fun evening with good company - a nice 'normal' occasion.

It was funny, Oma. It just disappeared and the four people behind us helped to look for it, but it must have jammed under one of the huge rocks! Most of the group went on to the pub for a meal afterwards, but we went home because we didn't want to leave the dogs for too long.

But I am still finding social occasions quite tiring after being a hermit for so long.

That sounds really good fun Daisy. That is the only type of golf I could have a go at!
As you say, just an old style normal occasion! I bet it did you good
