I went to Portugal in February before lockdown. Been to Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire in the Motorhome as soon as we were allowed to sleep overnight! Next week (31st) we’re going to Portugal unless something untoward happens 🤞🏻🇵🇹 and staying for 2 weeks.

Daisy, I added up all the miles - that was a task, sums are not my strong point, but I reckon we’ve walked 420 km or in miles - 261.

I was astonished too, but it is over seven months. We’re going to Hainault Forest on Saturday, first time we’ve ventured north of the river for a year! Another eleven km providing we don’t get lost, which despite my map reading skills, often happens.

And looking at the map I see that would not have taken us as far as Glasgow but way beyond Liverpool, Sunderland, or Swansea.

And, provided we could swim the channel, all the way to Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp or any Northern French towns.
