    The Van Gogh Immersive Experience

OH and I went to see this today. I didn't entirely know what to expect. A friend of ours had been early this year and loved it, and so had DD2 and GD. I planned to go, then came lockdown.
I read all about it and it seemed a safe experience so we booked to go this morning. For our first experience back 'out there' I would say it was the safest you could have. All must wear masks, hand sanitiser everywhere, small number allowed in, booking only. Socially distanced seating. In fact there was only one other lady in during our time and we were nowhere near each other, so we didn't really need the mask. They ask you to wear one though so we did. We were aware of this so put on our masks before we went in.

It was wonderful! So clever, beautiful and for me who misses theatre and cinema so much, to be at any type of performance was lovely.
You can understand why it is called Immersive. The paintings come to life on the walls and floor, constantly moving and changing and you are in amongst them. The half hour flew past.

If it comes near you, I recommend it!

Thanks to the most recent virtual projection technology you will become a part of the spectacular, incomparable universe of Vincent Van Gogh.

      Sounds fab.
Always face the sunshine and the shadows fall behind you.

Gem - it looks wonderful, so atmospheric, and the paintings must really come alive.

It's something I'd love to see if it comes nearer to us.

I'm glad you enjoyed the whole day out.
