Plant - what a lot of interesting places you've visited in such a short time. I bet you're ready for a few days relaxation when you get home, unless of course the baby has arrived.

The organisers have certainly done a great job.

Interesting that the privately owned grand house is so different from the NT ones. In what way?

My impressions was the paintings in the privately owned houses were of past family members painted by very famous artists but NT houses usually just hang appropriate painting from their store and the private houses feel more alive because the family still live there and we found their cafe food was more varied. But NT scones were the best.
