We had a very nice day.
The 3 and a half mile walk, with only slight inclines, is my kind of walk! I can walk for longer and have, but I prefer a shorter one like this. I hate hills, and steps even more, but I know they give the heart a good workout!
We were all disappointed by the number of daffodils, which were less than we expected, and than our friends had seen in previous years.
That's nature for you though, you get what you get!
I would like to do that walk again later in the year. So much of it is beside water, it would be cooling in the warm weather.
We stopped at the Daffy Caffy for coffee and a snack. Later we sat in the sunny churchyard for a long time chatting. We then began the return walk. We stopped at the pub on the walk back for a sandwich lunch.

Gem - it sounds like one of those pleasant, gentle days that are good for the soul. Our daffodils are virtually over and you've had some warm weather this month, so perhaps they were better a couple of weeks ago.
Yes, it does sound like a lovely walk for a warm day.
